Borgo Egnazia Resort

It’s no surprise that celebrity wedding venues are some of the most gorgeous in the world. With big budgets and even bigger tastes, celebrities are often privy to the best of the best when it comes to where they should say “I Do.”

But not all celebrity weddings are a like. Some of them have modest weddings. And there is nothing wrong with that! Some have extremely private ceremonies. With just friends and family. But others go all out. They rent the most expensive venues in the world. With breathtaking views. And shimmering beaches. Or historic castles. Check out the amazing celebrity wedding venues that have hosted some of our favorite couples, below.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel

One of our favorite celebrity couples wed privately at the Borgo Egnazia Resort in Fasano, Italy’s Puglia region (pictured, above). This breathtaking, 40-acre resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea feels like something out of a fairytale with its endless vistas and airy rooms. The singer-actor serenaded his bride in front of their 100 guests as she walked down the aisle in a pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, another dream come true.

Boone Hall Plantation’s Cotton Dock

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

This gorgeous couple is known for their adorable red carpet moments, where they always seem genuinely happy and in love. They’re also known for being completely approachable, whether to coworkers or fans. So getting married on the set of one of the most romantic movies of all time, The Notebook, in a place full of southern charm and hospitality totally makes sense to us. The Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina, is one of America’s oldest working plantations. And provides a backdrop of idyllic oak trees amid fields of Spanish moss. The bride walked down the aisle in a silk tulle gown by Marchesa. And the couple dined on lemon tarts and other Southern treats. Then Blake’s BFF Florence from Florence + The Machine sang. Listen to our favorite wedding song from her here!

Forte di Belvedere

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

The world’s most extravagant couple had to have one of the world’s most extravagant weddings…what else would you expect? The celebrities said “I do” in the exquisite 16th-century fortress Forte di Belvedere in Florence Italy. It was originally commissioned by the Medici family in 1590. And this star-shaped fortress was the perfect spot for America’s own queen of reality TV and king of music (in his own words, of course). The venue costs more than $400,000 to rent for a day. But the sweeping panoramic views might make you want to splurge…or steal. (Can we borrow $395,000?!)

Women wept when the most eligible bachelor in the world announced his engagement to Amal Alamuddin. And how fitting that such an iconic couple tied the knot at the Hotel Aman, a historic hotel on Venice’s timeless Canal Grande. The 16th-century palazzo, which was once the home of Venice’s elite, is a mix of old and new. With frescoes hanging in some of the rooms and a luxurious spa for relaxation. David and Victoria Beckham

Leave it to the Beckham’s to have one of the most expensive weddings on this list. The couple wed in the sprawling Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland. Where they sat on gold thrones and reportedly spent $800,000. The 1999 wedding attracted quite a bit of media coverage. It thrust the 15th-century castle into the international spotlight. It stretches over a lush 560-acre estate and boasts twelve beautifully appointed bedrooms. It also has an awe inspiring library, and magnificent ballrooms, into the international spotlight. Making it definitely worthy of any celebrity wedding venues list.

Parrot Cay
Parrot Cay

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Bennifer might no longer be an item (update: they’re back!) They began their nearly 10 year marriage (a lifetime by Hollywood standards) by getting hitched in an idyllic Caribbean paradise. The Parrot Cay Resort in Turks and Caicos. Tucked away amidst crystal-clear waters, Parrot Cay is one of the most secluded resort islands in the northern Caribbean. And begs for an outdoor beach ceremony. The islands are a great choice for a wedding. While the weather can be tricky, the views are epic.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman

This private, laid back duo took to Ventana Inn and Spa, a luxurious hillside hideaway on California’s Big Sur coast, to profess their love. It has a dramatic backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and rustic décor. Which makes this venue was the perfect place for their intimate wedding. While the bride wore a 1920s-inspired headband while a small group of family and friends looked on. Afterwards, they celebrated with a menu of local and sustainable food. Katy Perry and Russell Brand

While their marriage was short-lived, this extravagant twosome certainly knew how to plan a wedding. And the couple held their nuptials in Jaipur, India at the Sher Bagh, a luxury eco-resort full of white cotton tents and handcrafted furniture, located on the edge of Ranthambore National Park. Keeping with the theme, they dressed in traditional Indian garb and spent their honeymoon exploring much of the country. Now things are heating up between Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. We can’t help but wonder where the singer might set her eyes on next! As well as which celebrity wedding venues she might choose next.
