What’s Included: See above.

Extras: They require all weddings to have a wedding coordinator at least 30 days out. The venue has a Director of Events who coordinates many of the weddings that take place at Bloomsbury farm who charges $1,500 for weddings up to 120 guests and $1,800 for weddings 120 guests or more.

Food and Beverage: You may bring in your own caterers, as they do not provide this in-house.

Other Vendors: Outside vendors are allowed.

More Stats:

Space Type: Mainly an outside space. There are some inside options, but these typically function as a plan B in case of inclement weather. Should indoor spaces need to be used, a fee is attached for clearing the spaces and having them ready for the wedding. A typical wedding setup would include a ceremony on the lawn spaces, and a reception on the lawn or in Pavilion.

Size: Up to 300 guests depending on the package you choose

Bridal Suite: Yes. See the packages above for options.

Parking: There is free parking available for up to 100 cars.

How Will Grandma Get There? While there are several hotels (such as the TownePlace Suites by Marriott) about 20 minutes away, out of town guests would most likely want to stay in Nashville or neighboring Franklin, both of which are about 30-45 minutes away where there are a ton of nice hotel options (such as our favorite The Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville). The Nashville International Airport is 40 minutes away.

The Report:

Situated on 425 acres,  owner and farmer Lauren Palmer built Bloomsbury Farm from the ground up in 2009, and started by selling her organic vegetables and sprouts at area farmers markets.  Lauren, who says her love of farming was passed down through generations of family, with her father being raised by his grandparents on a dairy farm, combined her background in social work and management to turn Bloomsbury Farm into working organic farm, wedding venue, and Airbnb location for the community, accepting a limited number of weddings per year.

Woman Getting Married Says:

I will always have a soft spot for farm wedding venues, and this one is as gorgeous as they come. I’d love to see them build a rustic barn on the property (a girl can dream!) so they have a designated inside/outside space, but if you’re looking for a great outdoor venue not too far from Nashville this is worth a visit. Plus that Airbnb? Love!
