Our average base cost for a Pridwin Hotel wedding is calculated by figuring a 125-person guest list for a Saturday ceremony/reception using a food/beverage cost of $200/pp as well as any required extra costs. Entertainment, flowers, additional decorations and rentals, transportation, and photography are NOT included. Price is rounded up to the nearest thousand. Gratuity and sales tax is included in our average base cost.

Extras: There is an optional additional cost of $800 for ceremony set up and breakdown if the ceremony takes place on the Pridwin premises.
Food and Beverage: You must use their in-house catering, which is included in the package wedding cost. The average package wedding cost is $200/pp as stated above.
Other Vendors: The Pridwin provides everything but photography, flowers and band/DJ, for which you would have to bring in outside vendors.

Space Type: Inside/Outside. The typical wedding setup at the Pridwin is a ceremony on the lawn, cocktails on the front deck with a sit-down dinner and dancing in the dining room.

Bridal Suite: The Pridwin provides a cottage for two days for the bride as well as a powder room near the reception for the duration of the party.
Parking: Yes. Parking is free and available on premises.
How Will Grandma Get There? Ideally at the Pridwin Hotel! They have 40 rooms and 9 cottages, and offer a 10% discount on accommodations for your guests. Prices range from $247-$1,000+ depending on the type of room/cottage you have. Other nearby hotels include the Sunset Beach Hotel and Shelter Island House. The hotel is about 2 hours away from JFK International Airport and 2 1/2 hours from Midtown Manhattan. Note: Be sure to check with the hotel re: stairs for any guests with mobility issues.
Party On! Events can go until midnight with the option of an after-party following the wedding.
The Report:
Established in 1927, the Pridwin Hotel is a classic, all-wood resort hotel situated on a nearly 10-acre site on Crescent Beach. Amenities for guests of the hotel include a variety of boats for water activities including paddle boards, kayaks, sunfish, a rowboat and one-speed cruiser bicycles for rent. The Moussa Drame Tennis Club is also on the premises as well as nearby hiking on the trails of the nearby 1500-acre Mashomack Nature Preserve.

This hotel has a rustic charm that adds to the gorgeous waterfront location (even though there is a road separating the hotel from the water it doesn’t really take away from the views). And while the rooms are a bit of a throw-back (they are currently undergoing renovations) the property has a fun/hip nostalgic vibe that could be perfect for a laid-back wedding.
