Mini Wedding Food That is (Almost) Too Cute to Eat

I am currently writing this post on a train from Buffalo to New York City (hooray!), and I can’t tell if this mini wedding food gallery is making me hungry because it looks like each item is the best food ever invented, or if I’m just starving because the dining car is closed. I’m going to go with the former.

Seriously, I’ve said “OMG!” and “Aww, those are so cute!” about 20 times since I started researching this post. These tiny wedding food appetizers and desserts are some of the best wedding food items I’ve seen!

There’s something so awesome about anything mini when it comes to food (and especially wedding food), that I think you could dedicate an entire wedding theme to it (small food, big love…or something like that!).

From mini ice cream cones to loaded potato bites or spaghetti and meatballs (my personal favorite), there are a ton of mini wedding food options here to incorporate into your cocktail hour, reception, or dessert portion of your wedding. And if you’re thinking of having an appetizers only event, these would definitely help put it over the top (in a good way).

Check out my favorite mini wedding foods in the gallery above. Happy eating!

All of these mini foods look delicious and very trendy! Readers should know that creating a reception with foods like these can oftentimes be more costly than serving a full dinner. It seems like it would be the other way around, but it is more labor intensive for a caterer to prepare these mini foods than a full batch of mac-n-cheese, potatoes, salad, etc. I have found that many brides get excited about these mini foods and spent lots of their planning time thinking about which ones they would serve. All of this only to find out from the caterer that they will nearly double the per guest price.
