The Report
The Nantucket Hotel and Resort is located in the island’s downtown area near shops, restaurants, bars, the Harbor, Main Street, and the ferries. In addition to offering 1-4 bedroom suites and cottages year-round, the hotel also hosts meetings, events, and weddings. The in-house team helps couples plans ceremonies — including those held in the hotel’s newly renovated Grand Ballroom — and sit-down receptions or cocktail parties.
Woman Getting Married Says
Nantucket is such a charming place to visit, let alone get married. Because it can be somewhat tricky to get to, hosting your reception at the same place guests are staying is definitely a good idea. While the rooms (and venue itself) are on the expensive side, the hotel is consistently ranked as a favorite among travelers and brides. If you’re considering a Nantucket wedding I would definitely add this to your list.
