The Report
Highlands Country Club was founded in 1898 by a handful of local families, and today aims to be an “unpretentious” gathering place open to members of the broader community. The Club property lies within the Garrison Grist Mill District, a 13+ acre area which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes the Club as well as two other historic buildings. As a wedding and special event venue, The Highlands naturally integrates old world style with a modern flair. With oversized wood-burning fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, tavern area, and garden-edged lawn, the property features several unique venue spaces for both indoor and outdoor weddings.

Woman Getting Married Says
This venue feels like you’re getting married at your laid-back yet wealthy Aunt’s home. It has the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern amenities, and brides who have planned weddings here say the service and planning is nearly flawless. I love the location for New York area brides looking for something a little rustic yet still elevated, and the fact that their all-inclusive wedding packages are really well priced. What more can you ask for?!
