Average Base Cost: $25,000
Average base cost for a Prairie Production wedding is calculated by figuring a 125-person guest list for a Saturday wedding May-November using a food/beverage cost of $125/pp. Entertainment, flowers, additional decorations and rentals, transportation, and photography are not included. Price is rounded up to the nearest thousand. Gratuity and tax is included in our average base cost.

How Prairie Production Breaks Down
Facility Rental Fee:
May through November (in season):
- Fridays $4,000
- Saturdays $5,000
- Sundays $3,000
- December through March the in-season rates are discounted $1,000, and in April there is a $500 discount
What’s Included:
- Workroom for the caterer that has a fridge, sink, freezer and work surfaces(the caterer brings in all other equipment with the rental furniture)
- Tables to seat 150 included with the cost of the space
- Access to the space at 9 a.m. the day of
- Vendors have as long as they need to move out afterword
- There is a Prairie staff member on site through out the day of and evening
Food/Beverage: You can use any caterer that can provide a certificate of liquor and liability insurance and City of Chicago Liquor License

How Will Grandma Get There? Prairie Productions is centrally located in the hip area of the West Loop in Chicago . Nearby hotels include the Ace Hotel and Soho House and Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop. It’s approximately 40 minutes away from the Midway Airport.
Party On! Events can go until midnight. There is a $500 overtime charge for additional hours.

Prairie Productions is a family owned and operated venue that has over 4,000 sq. feet of indoor venue space and two outdoor courtyards. They feature an iPod compatible sound system and also welcome live music and DJs.
Woman Getting Married Says
Any venue that allows you to BYOB is a venue after my own heart. I think this is a great modern option for brides looking for a blank canvas to have a large or small wedding at. The location is also perfect for out-of-town guests!
