Our soft spot is Southern weddings, so when you combine that with our other love–vintage!–well, we’re pretty much hooked.
LaiKyn and Alex’s wedding day was an homage to Louisiana if there ever was one, especially when it came to the sweets! The couple had an Abita Root Beer Float bar with homemade ice cream and root beer kegs from one of Louisiana’s most famed breweries, Abita Brewing Company. There was also a beignet bar with sweet and savory toppings that welcomed guests as they arrived. But it wasn’t just the dessert table that had us dreaming of New Orleans…there was also the sounds of the Port City Big Band, an 8-piece brass ensemble that guests danced the jitterbug to.
Captured by Unveiled Radiance Photography and designed by Hillary Moss and Sainte Terre, we also loved the decor details as well. Rather than opt for traditional table arrangements, Moss incorporated floating parasols above each table dripping with greenery and soft blooms. Le sigh!
