Summer might be almost over, but we’re still seeing gorgeous real weddings from this past season. And Jamie and Jacob’s Hampton Cove Plantation wedding is definitely one of them! Their wedding managed to feel rustic and laidback yet totally elegant and modern at the same time. Navy, white, and gold is such a gorgeous wedding palette, and Jamie and Jacob worked it in perfectly. Of course their beyond pretty photos by Mandy Owens Photography made this spectacular day all the more special!

On How We Met:
“We met at church and the first thing that I remember ever saying to Jacob was “yYu smell like barbecue.” He had just come from work at his parent’s BBQ restaurant, and due to my wonderful way with words, he thought I was kind of cute. He ended up asking me to his senior prom in February of 2010, and we’ve been together for over five years now. We have had so many adventures together during these past few years, and we are so excited for a lifetime of more!”
On the Decor:
“My vision was navy blue with pops of glittery gold and white. I wanted everything to look simple, yet elegant. Several of our decorations were handmade, including the table numbers, the signs for the memory table and wedding favor table, and the ceremony fans. Everything that I envisioned for the months leading up to our wedding turned out perfectly!”
Looking Back:
“We felt that our wedding day went without a single hiccup. With all of the help from our family, church family, and wedding party, we were able to just relax and enjoy the day.”
