The Report

Nestled at the base of Aspen Mountain, the Little Nell is a ski-in/ski-out hotel that offers a number of event spaces. This includes The Wedding Deck, Aspen Mountain Club and Sundeck, which are at the top of the mountain and can be reached via gondola.

Aspen Mountain Wedding Deck – At an elevation of 11,212’ atop Aspen Mountain, with views of the Elk Mountains and Highlands Bowl, this setting is typically used for cocktail receptions for up to 250 guests.

Aspen Mountain Club – The Aspen Mountain Club, designed by David Anthony Easton of New York, is a 4,400-square foot private club with antique Austrian tables and hand-woven rugs, and features a collection of high-end art, including pieces from Any Warhol. The space provides room for 250 for a reception or 120 for a seated dinner.

The Sundeck – Offering 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space at 11,212’ is the Sundeck. Events are staffed by The Nell with room for 500 for a reception or 300 for a seated dinner. The open floor plan features a rock fireplace, 30’ high ceilings and large windows with mountain views.

Woman Getting Married Says

I have been to this venue multiple times, and I DREAM of having an event here. (Anniversary party, anyone?). I might sound like a broken record, but for those with the budget Aspen is one of my favorite cities for a destination wedding. The Little Nell has an amazing staff (several of which I’ve worked with before) and you will have a crazy awesome event if you decide to host it here. If you have the budget and you’re looking for a chic wedding venue that is both rustic and luxurious, this is definitely your spot!
