More Stats

Space Type: Mostly outside

The estate — which sprawls out on 20 acres — offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. For ceremonies, couples typically choose between the floral wrapped tree or the 14′ tall Arbor Arch with a chandelier and views of Twin Peaks underneath. Then, guests often head to the pool and gardens for cocktail hour followed by dancing and dinner under the French Wedding Tent.

How Will Grandma Get There? Berthoud is less than an hour away by car from the Denver International Airport and Denver itself, while Colorado Springs and Grand Junction are roughly two and four hours away, respectively. For lodging, Stonewall Farm works with many local hotels all of whom offer discounts for weddings. Typically brides will stay the night before with their bridesmaids and moms, however this is totally up to you (see above for the accommodation charge). The night of the wedding the only two people who can stay on-site are the bride and groom.

Party On! Events can go until 11 p.m.

Important Note: Stonewall Farm only hosts one event per weekend. This typically involves check-in on Friday at 2 p.m., the wedding on Saturday, and clean-up on Sunday.

The Report

Located on 20 acres of horse property in Berthoud, Colorado, Stonewall Farm is a ranch-style venue that features multi-level gardens, a large heated pool, and over 7,000 square feet of patios. There are numerous locations for a ceremony and reception across the farm, all of which include Rocky Mountain views.

Woman Getting Married Says

I always love the idea of an all-inclusive wedding venue, and this property is beautiful! I do think the venue rental fee can be pricey if you’re having a smaller wedding where you might not need to take advantage of the 20 acres, however for larger groups looking for something more rustic this could be a great option (and the fact that you can BYOB definitely helps offset the cost).

While I wish there was a dedicated indoor space such as a barn vs. a tent, they make the process super easy for you by adding the tent as an a la carte option, which I would definitely use! It would also be fun to stay overnight there the night before the wedding with your bridesmaids and mom, and plan a fun dinner and breakfast in while you’re getting ready.
