What It Is: Nest Bedding Easy Breather Pillow, from $99
Why We Wish We Registered for It: We had heard amazing things about the Nest Bedding Easy Breather Pillow (it was recently named one of the best pillows from Wirecutter) and since we hated our current bed pillows (made by one of those trendy sheet companies), we thought it was the perfect time to try something new.

We reached out to Nest to review four of their King size pillows (Editorial Disclaimer: While we received these for free, our reviews are always 100% our own opinion). My husband Cory and I like to sleep with two pillows each, so four is the perfect combo (we also have a King size bed, so we always go for a King vs. Standard). We received them in a compact Nest box, and when we opened them they were ready to go. We were pleasantly surprised upon opening the box that they had zero smell, which is something Cory and I are both sensitive to and have noticed with not only other pillows, but mattresses in the past.
The first thing we noticed was how different the pillows felt, and also how heavy they were. We have only used down or down alternative pillows in the past, so the concept of the Nest Bedding Easy Breather Pillow was definitely new for us. It features a shredded, CertiPUR-US foam and fiber fill, and the cover is made of a super soft, eco-friendly Tencel® blended cover. (Though the cover is cozy and soft, we always recommend putting your pillows in a zippable pillow protector like this one.)

What’s great (and different) about the Nest Bedding Easy Breather Pillow is that you can adjust the height/loftiness by removing any amount of the foam fill that you want. For instance, after the first night of sleeping on them I thought the pillow was perfect as-is, however Cory wanted just a tiny bit removed.

The Verdict: We’ve been sleeping on these for almost two weeks now, and I can honestly say they are the best I’ve ever slept on. I’m a back sleeper and Cory’s a side sleeper, but they seem to be working well for the both of us. I love that they are firm yet provide the perfect amount of cushion, and I literally feel like my head and neck are being supported by a cloud. I used to wake up in the middle of the night with numb arms/hands (a sign that your nerves are being compressed) with our old pillows, and that is no longer happening which I definitely attribute to these pillows. I just wasn’t getting the support I needed from our old down ones, and these feel both fluffy and supportive which for me is just the right combo.
While we received two for each of us, I’ve been sleeping (on my back) with the other one by my side, but for things like watching TV in bed or napping, two has been perfect for me. Cory’s been using one to support his head during the night, with the other one as a body pillow (LOL), so definitely figure out which way you like to sleep and go from there.
