Can I Put Our Wedding Registry Info On Our Invites?

Q: Friends and family members keep calling my mom and asking her where we’re registered at. Should we include this info on our Save the Dates or wedding invitations so everybody knows where to go?- Jenifer

A: The short answer? No. While I know it might seem weird to not put information people are asking for on your wedding invitations, the wedding etiquette rules surrounding this are pretty clear. The best place to put information about where you’re registered at is on your wedding website. If a guest asks you or a relative where you’re registered you can then have the choice to tell them the one or two stores you’re registered at (or sites like Zola) or direct them to your wedding website to get all the information. You should also list this URL on your Save the Dates, and on your accommodations insert with your wedding invitations.
