Middletown can be reached by car from New York City and Boston in two hours, and there’s an Amtrak station (Meriden) that connects to a number of cities. For lodging, most 3 star hotel chains are about a 15-20 minute drive from the venue, but for the nicest/most unique options guests will most likely want to stay in Hartford.

Woman Getting Married Says
I personally love when a wedding venue knows what their clients want, and setup their packages and venue spaces to accommodate that. That is exactly why brides rave about The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. It’s rare to find a barn venue that knows the importance of flexible indoor/outdoor spaces, and this venue definitely does. The fact that there are two separate spaces for a cocktail hour/reception is a huge plus (not to mention a very robust all-inclusive catering package) which makes this venue a must-see in my book!
