The Report

The New Haven Lawn Club (founded in 1891) inhabits this stately, Georgian mansion that was built in 1929 in New Haven’s esteemed East Rock neighborhood (Yale is 1/2 mile away). With checkered terrazzo floors, Art Deco lighting, and barrel-vaulted ceilings, the building’s multiple rooms each have their own vintage character.

Woman Getting Married Says

Connecticut brides should run, not walk, to this wedding venue. I LOVE the charm this venue has, and the pricing is right on point. (The minimums [$20,000 on Saturdays and $10,000] on Fridays can easily be met given the rental fee and catering cost). Brides report being extremely happy with the on-site wedding coordinators as well as the catering. All in all I really like this Connecticut wedding venue.
