How Will Grandma Get There? The Saratoga National Golf Club is located in Saratoga Springs, NY, and is about 30 minutes from the Albany International Airport, 3 1/2 hours from New York City, and 6 minutes from the Saratoga Race Track. There are several hotels located within a couple miles of the venue. The Longfellow hotel is 1.3 miles away (3-star) and the Saratoga Casino Hotel (4-star) is around 5 miles away.
Party On! The venue is flexible. It depends on when your package starts.
What’s the difference between a wedding planning and a wedding coordinator? Well, it’s mostly THIS.
Located in historic Saratoga, the Saratoga National Golf Club features an 18-hole course designed by Roger Rulewich, and was rated one of America’s Best Golf Courses by Golf Digest. Guests enter through a field stone gatehouse at the beginning of a mile-long drive before going past rustic wooden bridges, ponds, and the fairways of the golf course. The clubhouse features an over-sized foyer with woodwork, ceramic tile, custom murals and chandeliers. Inside, the rooms range from grand to small and intimate. Outside, guests can relax on the covered veranda and patio terrace amid fire pits and an infinity pool, all with views of the golf course.
Woman Getting Married Says:
Brides rave about the planners at this full-service wedding venue, where the only thing you’ll have to worry about bringing in are flowers, additional decor, and a tent if you’re hosting a wedding for more than 200 people. Even though they have the space to accommodate it, we think the ballroom is a good venue choice here, and that a 125-150 guest list would be a perfect size. Considering the close location to the race track, it could be fun to have a racing theme (like the one couple had above with the lawn jockey!) and rustic wedding decor like horseshoes, mason jars, etc.
