As Nick puts it, he flirted with Ashley’s sisters and danced with her mother before he even got the chance to meet her. Ashley, quietly asleep in bed at the time, got a photo in a text from her sisters and was given a name and a phone number the next morning. A single text was the spark that started an eternal love flame!
After a relationship that eventually saw Ashley move all the way from Ohio to South Carolina — only for her to come back when Nick asked her to — he set out to find the perfect diamond ring to match Ashley’s timeless, elegant style (and get her father’s permission!). Four months later, he finally popped the question. The best part? He asked her at the same spot where they first confessed their love for one another.
When it came time for the wedding, Nick and Ashley opted for The Ivory Room venue in Columbus, Ohio. The winter date allowed the couple to take photos (captured beautifully by Asteria Photography) with snow on the ground and a gorgeous ray of light shining through grey skies. With an overall chic vibe, the ceremony and reception consisted of elements like flower petals, gold decor, and so many more to-die-for accents.
