Like all things wedding-related, the cost of a wedding veil can vary by the fabric, quality, and style/length. You can of course DIY your wedding veil  for $25 or less, depending on how much tulle you need to buy, or you can go to a high-end wedding boutique and spend upwards of $600. On average, however, the cost of a wedding veil is between $250-$300.

So where can you get the best deals on wedding veils? Our advice is to definitely shop around! I admit that when I got my veil I hadn’t really given it a second thought. I tried on my wedding dress, fell in love with it, and when they put a veil on me and told me it would cost around $250 I said “Sold!”, mostly because it looked good and I was tired of wedding dress shopping! LOL. But, in hindsight I might have waited and explored my options. Online stores and marketplaces such as Etsy, BHLDN, and David’s Bridal are all great options, and you can even find one on Amazon! However, the best place to try on a wedding veil is during a wedding dress fitting, so do ask your salesperson to show you several different ones to see which length and color you like best. From there you can get an idea of what your budget will be for a wedding veil and which ones go with your dress. TIP: Be sure to ask your mom, grandma, or other close relative if they have a wedding veil you could try on. It’s a great way to get your “something old” and “something borrowed,” while also adding special meaning to your wedding day outfit.
