The Report

BRICK, aka Building 32–a former machine shop within Liberty Station that was the site of the former Naval Training Center in San Diego–used to manufacturer and repair parts for the NTC. Liberty Station has since gone through a revitalization in the past 5 years, including the area that BRICK is located in called the Arts District.

BRICK is now an event venue with space that grants couples the freedom to get creative. The expansive interior features vaulted ceilings, original brick walls, and over 100 windows. You can bring in your own vendors and there is a 24 hour rental period (with no curfew) which means the party can go on for as long as you want it to.

Woman Getting Married Says

San Diego is, IMHO, a more accessible and beautiful Los Angeles with really unique wedding venues that are actually affordable! What’s not to love about a space that lets you bring in all your own vendors AND has no curfew? Sign us up! The area is also great, and considering everything is easily accessible in San Diego, this is a prime location for a California destination wedding. The only downside with a venue space like this is it’s essentially one big room, meaning you’ll have to find creative ways to decorate and lay out the space. However considering you can BYOB it will definitely offset the cost of extra decor/rentals that way.
