I didn’t think about a wedding manicure until the day before my wedding, when I was frantically searching around my hotel for a nail salon that didn’t cost a fortune. I ended up with nails that looked fine (from a distance), but it was one of the worst manicures of my life. I also hated the color. It was this 60’s chalky light pink that was anything but natural. Looking back I should have booked an appointment way ahead of time for a gel manicure so at least I wouldn’t have to worry about chipping my nails before the rehearsal dinner or the big day. I also would have considered a natural yet still kind of funky wedding nails design. Definitely something with a little sparkle!
While you might be tempted to put your wedding nails off to the last minute, the earlier you can start thinking about what you want to do with them, the better. And if you want to get your wedding nails professionally done, be sure to make your appointment sooner rather than later (unlike me).
