There’s the dress, and then there’s everything else. We know you’ve tabbed magazine pages and pinned many a wedding dress photo on Pinterest. But where do you find that dream wedding dress? To help you along in your search for “the one,” we’ve compiled this list of 10 bridal boutiques we love in the US. Whether you’re looking for high-end wedding dress designers like Marchesa and Monique Lhuillier to free-spirited designers such as Odylene and A La Robe, these bridal boutiques have got your back. Note: Most of the bridal boutiques on this list are by appointment only. Even though some will accept walk-ins, we always recommend booking an appointment so you know you’ll get the time you need to try on all those gorgeous gowns.

1. Mark Ingram Atelier: New York, NY

Searching for high-end designer gowns, brides flock to this New York City institution that boasts a serious collection of statement making gowns from designers such as Vera Wang and Naeem Khan. We recommend the Athens-based Christos Costarellos, a collection of gowns which are as ethereal as they are modern. Also not to miss? The lovely Mira Zwillinger. Make sure to keep an eye on their trunk-show schedule, which books up quickly (but you can always be added to the wait list).

  1. Would love to invite you to experience the best boutique in the country. While David’s bridal is declaring bankruptcy for the third time…we are up 235% and it’s all because of the quality of the experience from start to finish, the construction of the gowns, and the unmatched memory-making atmosphere in the boutique itself! We are AVA LAURÉNNE Bride.
