When he was just 24-years-old, Peter Langner left his home in Germany to attend school at the renowned Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale in Paris. Rumor has it that soon after he began studying there, the director of the school actually asked Peter Langner to design her daughter’s wedding dress. Talk about an honor!
Langner graduated with honors and went to work directly for some of the best designers in the industry, including Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro, Guy LaRoche, and Christian Lacroix. He opened his own studio in Rome in 1991, and by 2015 had his own showroom in Milan, where his headquarters are located now. Every evening gown and wedding dress is designed, sewn, and beaded in the Peter Langner’s studio in Milan, utilizing fabrics from Italy and France.
