Ugh. This song and video is so beautiful. I completely broke down the first time I saw it (but maybe I was just PMS’ing). It manages to capture all the wonder and freedom you feel when you’re younger, that you always seem to try and recapture (somewhat unsuccessfully) as you grow up. Or at least it makes me feel that way.
The lyrics don’t have any particularly romantic meaning, and there’s an f-bomb in the beginning as well. But I still think this would be an amazing song for you or the wedding party to walk down the aisle to. Talk to your DJ about having it start after the 1:30 mark, or ask him if he can somehow edit the curse word out (if you care about that…some people don’t.) I’d feel a little weird knowing some relative might be like “Whaaaa? Henry! Did they just say the word ‘fuck?'”
