Maggie Sottero Designs started in 1997 with a goal to bring brides an “incomparable fit” and “impeccable” styling (in fact, they markets their fit as the “Maggie Magic”). 18 years later the company has design studios in Sydney, Australia and Salt Lake City, Utah.
In October 2010 Maggie Sottero (the company…there is not a sole designer) was inducted into the DEBI “Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry” hall of fame. In addition to their Maggie Sottero line, they also have the Sottero and Midgley line, which tends to have more ballgown wedding dresses and couture designs.
Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress Collection 2022
Woman Getting Married Says: I love how Maggie Sottero’s wedding dress designs are whimsical and elegant while still being relaxed. You could wear almost any one of these wedding dresses (below, from their 2022 collection) to a beach, barn, or black tie wedding. While their wedding dresses have intricate details like lace and crystals, they still have a casual romance to them that prevents them from feeling overdone.
I also really like how the 2022 collection has subtle hints of color as well as styles that are on-trend (such as long and capped sleeves), but also timeless enough that they’ll still be gorgeous next year. The latest Sottero and Midgley collection is also gorgeous, featuring slightly more constructed designs and dramatic silhouettes.
Below are a few of my favorite looks from the latest Maggie Sottero and Sottero and Midgley wedding dress collections.
