How it Breaks Down

Facility Rental Fee: $4,500-$10,500, including lodging.

The $4,500 rate is for weddings Monday through Thursday, and from there, pricing for Saturday weddings moves up.

The $10,500 price point includes lodging for the entire wedding weekend (Friday-Sunday) for up to 15 people.

What’s Included: Tables, chairs, and linens for up to 150 guests, along with staffing and a day-of-coordinator. Amenities go up from there based on package you choose, including golf carts to transport guests and the wedding party, a parking attendant and a minimum of five additional staff members to welcome and assist guests. The venue also goes out of their way to provide welcome treats, including complimentary, locally sourced farm to table brunch/lunch for the wedding party (with four different menus to choose from), as well as fruit-infused water in the summer and cider in cooler temps for guests in the pre-ceremony garden.

Extras: There are fees for additional hours on the front and back end. Alcohol insurance is required, too.

Food/Beverage: Sweet Meadow Farm has a list of preferred caterers — which, if used, will score couples a $500 discount — and suggestions for other vendors on their website. Other caterers must be vetted by the Sweet Meadow manager, and other fees may be required.

The Report

Sweet Meadow Farm & Homeplace is a special events venue that can host weddings, rehearsal dinners, elopements, small corporate events, lifestyle retreats, and other special gatherings. The venue–whose mission is to keep your wedding weekend “slow, easy, and flexible”– is a turn of the century farmstead that rests on 160 acres with pastoral views, gardens and grounds, and can accommodate anywhere from 50-350 guests.

Woman Getting Married Says

This is a sweet venue for Southern brides looking for a destination wedding venue that’s close to home. I love the venue’s bespoke, custom packages that come with a ton of included extras, as well as the rustic yet chic spaces that can be minimally decorated or completely transformed depending on your preference/budget. I would definitely consider renting the entire venue for the weekend if you can, and guests traveling from out of state can either stay near the venue or closer to Atlanta if you are looking for more 4 and 5- star hotel options.
