How Will Grandma Get There? Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (22 mins) and Midway International Airport, both around 30 minutes from the venue. Room 1520 is close to several hotels, including the W Chicago (13 minute drive) and The Ace Hotel (5 minute drive). The venue can also refer you to several hotels they work with for room blocks.
Party On! Events can last until 12 a.m., and vendors have until 1 a.m. to load out.
The Report
Room 1520 is a 4,000 square-foot event venue located in the heart of the artistic West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. Once a gear factory, the restored building now features high ceilings, polished cement floors, portrait windows, exposed brick, private street entrances and more amenities. Couples are free to customize the space as they please.
Woman Getting Married Says
Room 1520 is a turnkey wedding venue that you can do nothing to in terms of decor or use it as a blank slate for any wedding theme. The location is great and I love when venues put together robust packages that make planning as easy (and transparent) as possible. Since the venue is all inside, I would opt for an off-season wedding for major discounts.
