How to Use Minted for Every Stage of Your Wedding Planning

Chances are you already knew Minted was the place for Save the Dates, Invitations, Announcements, and even Thank-You Cards, but the more you dive in you soon discover they have so much more. From wedding websites to day-of decor, you can knock out 1/3 of your wedding to-do items with one visit to their site.

We thought it would be helpful (and fun!) to take a tour of what they have to offer, and show you around our favorite Minted wedding finds, below.

Wedding Invites

Honestly, Minted’s stationery has gotten SO GOOD it’s hard to beat. Between their luxe paper selection and always-unique designs, you feel like you’re getting bespoke invites at more than half the price of stationery boutiques. Especially when you factor in all the accessories they have to complete your invitation suite. From matching belly bands and reception cards to vellum overlays and wax seals, this is not your typical online invitation shop.

In fact, their invites deserve their own section so we can go through everything they have to offer:

Budget-Friendly Options:

Minted’s wedding invitations are already one of the more affordable online options, with the average invitation cost at $2.34/each with free envelopes and guest addressing (return addressing costs $45-$65 depending on type). However, they recently introduced an even more budget-friendly line, which includes All-in-One and Four Panel invitations starting at $1.50/each.

Designed by Independent Artists:

Minted’s designs are sourced from a community of over 15,000 independent artists via ongoing competitions, which means they’re always fresh and new. These designers are coming up with amazing artwork, not only for invites but for art prints as well. How cool would it be to get a framed print from your invitation designer, like this one from Nicoletta Savod?

Free Wedding Sample Kit:

Choose samples of individual invites you like (included a personalized Save the Date sample with your own photo), or order a free sample kit that includes a handpicked mix of flat, foil-pressed, and die-cut invites along with an assortment of their premium paper types. We highly recommend getting this so you can see which type of paper you actually like!

Monogram Maker:

Where was this when we got married? In less than five seconds you can have your own FREE wedding monogram, which you can use on everything from your invites to your website. Just enter both of your names, pick a design, and choose your colors. I was honestly surprised at how easy it was. Try their wedding monogram maker.

Luxe Paper Choices:

Minted is extremely transparent about the types of paper they use. Which, if you dive into all the invite sites out there, that’s not always the case. Minted has six paper types to choose from (all from Mohawk, the gold-standard in paper) that range from 14.5 point thickness/110 lb., to 54 point thickness/360 lb.

WGM Says: As soon as you start planning your wedding, you should also consider joining the Minted More program. For $38/year you’ll get 20% off all Minted products, 30% off Holiday cards, and free shipping on every order. Sign up here.

Unique Printing Types:

We can geek out on paper weights all day, but another area that Minted really excels in is printing types. They offer standard printing of course, but they also offer letterpress, foil-pressed, and their new gloss-press which is unique to Minted.

minted envelopes
Honestly, Minted’s all-script envelope addressing won us over.

I’m kind of saving the best for last here, because I can’t tell you how much I love their envelopes. To me, wedding invitation envelopes are sorely overlooked. They’re the first thing a guest sees when they get your invite, and I think so many couples miss the opportunity to make an impact. One of the best ways to do that is with calligraphy, but the cost is often high and it can take a lot of time for a calligrapher to do. Minted is one of the only online invitation sites to offer all-script addressing, which is also available in white. Combined with their beautiful selection of envelope colors (like aubergine, grey mist, navy, and blush) it looks SO GORGEOUS.

If you fall in love with a Minted invitation design, they make it easy to keep the party going and incorporate your design throughout your wedding day. Here’s what else you can do on Minted.

Minted Wedding Websites

We recently ranked Minted as one of the best wedding websites you can use for your wedding, and one of the reasons is that their designs are just soooo good. You can match your site to your wedding invitation in one click, or even create a completely custom design (with unlimited revisions) for only $98. Plus, Minted makes it easy to gather guest addresses with Digital Address Cards that match you design, as well as track RSVPs. This will make the process of actually mailing your invites so much easier, especially since Minted addresses all your envelopes for free.
