The Report

Situated in the Orange Groves of San Juan Capistrano hills, the Hamilton Oaks Winery is the only “full service wedding venue vineyard” in Orange County. Hamilton Oaks winery has two distinct wedding venue and ceremony venue locations, and views of orange groves, wildflowers, and vineyards. The ceremony and reception are both held in the event space behind the winery itself, and the cocktail hour is setup in the front area of the winery.

Being one of the only vineyards available for weddings in Orange County, it’s hard to compare it to other venues in the area when it comes to location and vibe. With several wedding packages available, it can fit most budgets within a $20,000 range for wedding venue location as well as food/beverage and even decor/flowers, which is great. While I love how easy wedding packages can make finding a venue to fit your budget (like the ones offered by Latrobe’s On Royal in New Orleans), the Hamilton Oaks Winery wedding packages are a tad bit confusing.

While it’s great they have upgrades available for couples, I think they could simplify their offerings and make a more well-rounded wedding package by including more or less catering options into the base package…it gets a little crazy trying to figure it all out. Price wise I think their rates are decent, but the lack of inside option in this price range will always be a bit of a bummer, no matter how many items are included.
