Artist Phillipa Rice started illustrating her everyday “couple” moments that she had with boyfriend Luke Pearson back in 2011…
“They’re all from our life together,” Pearson told BuzzFeed Life. “We’re both illustrators/cartoonists and work from home. I like to keep diaries of drawings to remember what I’ve done each day and what I’d do is choose the best bits and illustrate them with the red and black inks.”
Whether they were brushing their teeth, deciding what to order for dinner (Pizza? Or should we make something?), wanting to be alone together, or making funny jokes to each other in a movie theater (I can totally relate to that one), the viewer gets a glimpse into her perfect little imperfect world that we all know so well with a series she called, Soppy, now a NYT Bestseller that you can find here.
