Welcome to Pennsylvania!
“The family owners locally source all of their food, and it’s positively delicious. Their new event space is beautifully lit with large windows and lends itself to a lot of different decor styles,” says Merida Alexander of Events By Merida.
“The staff at the PBG has been so amazing to work with each time we’ve done an event here! The gardens are beautiful and offer the perfect flow for a wedding, including a few ceremony locations as well as the reception being right on-site. It is a wonderful space for a one-stop-shop and we love working there,” say Ali and Sam of Wanderlust Weddings and Events.
“Dawn is so much fun to work with and so easy-going. She is amazing at the detailed shots and never misses an important piece of any wedding. She also works wonders with natural-light, and we have several clients who always love working with her!” say Ali and Sam.
“Tree of Life is a photo-video team that has a unique style that my brides just love. They’re also the sweetest people, too,” says Alexander.
“First of all, her photos won’t disappoint. Second of all, she is a sweetheart and is super responsive! It’s hard to find someone creative and organized, and Hannah is that person!” say Rachael and Lisa of Elegant Event Solutions.
“He’s great at bringing the fun out in my clients, and he has a distinct style,” says Alexander.
“Holly Hanna and I met at one of her first weddings, and even though both of us were newer to the official ‘scene’ she was so professional! Her flowers are gorgeous and creative, but she does so while allowing her clients to have all sorts of budgets,” say Rachael and Lisa.
“The sister-team behind Sapphire and Lace is a dream-team, to say the least! Not only are they so knowledgeable on flowers, but they work so well with wedding planners like us at Wanderlust to bring a vision to life. They are very specific when it comes to details and they help us design the perfect centerpieces and vibe with flowers and rental pieces that all of our clients end up loving. They work so well together and we love their attention to detail,” say Ali and Sam.
“They’re a one stop shop for lighting, draping and florals, and they’re super open-minded for my untraditional brides!” says Alexander.
“They do a wonderful job adapting to picky eaters and creating menus for different cultures,” says Alexander.
“Nikki and her staff at Bistro To Go are always so organized and great to work with. They offer all kinds of personal dishes and meal options that fit any personality or ethnicity. We had one couple do both Brazilian meats and Milwaukee appetizers for their wedding being that their families are from both places. Nikki goes above and beyond to make every wedding/event meal perfect for their clients. They are wonderful to work with, and we work together very often!” say Ali and Sam.
“They make gorgeous cakes, but they’re also absolutely delicious,” says Alexander.
“Bev is so talented and quite the artist when it comes to cakes and desserts. She is always so easy to work with and always NAILS specific designs for cakes when we refer our clients to her. She made my own wedding cake and people STILL talk about how amazing and how good it was! Highly recommend Tasty Bakery,” say Ali and Sam.
“Her cakes are GORGEOUS AND taste good! You don’t get that very often! I literally don’t think there is a cake she can’t make!” say Rachael and Lisa.
DJs & Bands
“Scotty has been on the radio for several years and a DJ for even longer. For all events, he is the perfect mix of playing good music as well as emceeing the event perfectly. He plays a good mix of music and always keeps the dance floor packed. We love working with Scott!” say Ali and Sam.
“No Macarena is reliable and brings the party every time,” says Alexander.
Hair & Makeup Artists
“The owner, Jaimee, is such a fun person and delivers every time,” says Alexander.
“April is adaptable in her style for all kinds of brides,” says Alexander.
“I’ve had my makeup done for so many weddings and JuLea has always been my favorite! She keeps a glam look while still making you look natural – even girls who don’t love to wear makeup feel great after! She is also great with moms!” say Rachael and Lisa.
“Luxe Hair Salon in Bridgeville is amazing! They have the nicest team who offer full-service wedding hair and make-up. They also offer traveling services to any clients who want to get ready in specific locations. They offer full service facials and lash-extensions as well, which brides always love having done the week of their wedding!” say Ali and Sam.
