Not always but a lot of the time you can just tell a wedding is going to be amazing after hearing a couple’s proposal story. It doesn’t necessarily have to be over-the-top or crazy unique…it’s just a sense you get from the couple and how they are with each other that can predict how fun or sweet or intimate a wedding is going to be. And after hearing Leann and Nick’s proposal story, it’s no wonder I love their wedding so much!

“It was the day after my birthday. Nick told me he’d invite a few people to my dad’s house to hang for the day. His sister took me to get my nails done that morning as my birthday present (we get our nails done together a lot). When we got back to my dad’s house, my brother’s car was missing a tire and blocking the street, so I had to park at the top of the street and walk down. I was distracted by the missing tire, and as I rounded the corner to look closer, “All of Me” by John Legend started playing. Nick was standing there, in a tux, surrounded by flowers, with my voice teacher playing and singing “All of Me.” To this day I don’t remember what he said, but I know I said “Yes!” Afterwards, our parents came out and we all hugged and cried. Then Nick walked me through the front door and our family and friends were waiting inside! They had watched the whole proposal. We spent the entire day talking to everyone, eating, drinking, and having a wonderful time!”
