Chris and Martha first met when they walked down the aisle of photographer Meghan Spencer’s wedding in 2013. So, when Chris was ready to propose and decided he wanted a photographer to capture the moment, he knew Martha would only want Meghan to take them.
Chris chose to propose on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian bridge overlooking the Missouri river because he is from Nebraska and Martha is from Missouri, and the view to downtown Omaha was perfect.
“I didn’t want Martha to see me, so I dressed like a jogger and hid my camera in my puffy vest,” said photographer Spencer. “At just the right moment, Chris got down on one knee and asked Martha to marry him! Martha cried with joy, and said yes!”
Aww! What a gorgeous setting for a marriage proposal! Congratulations to the happy couple. We can’t wait to see your real wedding pics!
