The Report:
Loyola University Chicago is a private, Jesuit university founded in 1870 by the Roman Catholic Society of Jesus under the name “St. Ignatius College.” Today it is one of the largest Jesuit universities in the country, and is currently one of the Top 100 National Universities according to the 2016 U.S. News & World Report.
Woman Getting Married Says:
This is a great, budget-friendly wedding venue for Chicago brides looking for lots of different reception venue options. I’m a fan of the Palm Court for smaller weddings, and the Donovan Reading Room for larger ones (though I love the location of Kasbeer Hall so I would seriously consider that option as well). One thing to note is that weddings in the chapel can run back-t0-back, so you might not have more than 30 minutes for photos afterwards. Brides have also mentioned some headaches with having to book the venue through one department and catering through another, so keep that in mind when communicating with the venue.
