Hidden within the hills of Orange County is the Richard Nixon Library and Museum, the stunning location for this styled shoot from Three16 Photography‘s Jerrick O’Connor. Together with JenEvents, Flower Allie, and more, the team were inspired by Pantone’s recent Color of the Year, Greenery, and created classic yet modern centerpieces, an ultra lush fireplace display, and a canoe covered with greenery and white roses. Cherished Rentals provided plates from its Al Fresco and Luna Collection, which were complimented by Mid-Century Gold Flatware and Emerald Pressed Glassware from their Gemstone Glassware Collection. Classic Party Rentals also helped out, contributing suede blue cushions — which matched perfectly the room — along with linen and napkins from their Lamour collection to complete the tablescape.
The beautiful invitation suite and escort cards were created by Chasing Linen, which made sure to embrace the colors of the ocean by including a playful but classic watercolor wash. Topped off with modern calligraphy and a detailed wax seal, the paper goods were nothing less than perfect.
When it came to food, Elise Cakes designed a gorgeous three tiered cake that included a watercolor effect, perfectly wrapped rope, and a sailor’s knot. Jason’s Catered Events puts together the most creative and beautifully displayed food, from mini burgers and mini tacos to a crisp salad to a filet mignon entree, they created a meal that was fit for royalty.
Of course, the shoot wouldn’t have been possible without the couple: Maddy and Hunter. Donning a Pronovias Tais wedding dress provided by Mon Amie Bridal, Maddy’s look was completed with a top bun that gave her a modern look when paired with her natural makeup. The groom, Hunter, was dressed by Friar Tux in their slate blue coat with heather grey pants and vest. Hunter’s look was completed with a grey and white pipe edge bow tie and cognac shoes.
