You might find yourself obsessively checking the weather forecast in the days (and even weeks) leading up to your wedding. I even went so far as to buy a Farmer’s Almanac online to see what their weather prediction was for our wedding day! It did not end up raining on our wedding day (and even if it did it would have been fine since the only outdoor event was the cocktail hour), but after looking at these rainy day wedding photos, it would have been OK if it did. There’s something so cozy and romantic about rain on a wedding day…and did you know it’s good luck? Not that Tyler and Lindsey would need it! This adorable couple clearly didn’t let a few raindrops put a damper on their wedding day. In fact, their photographer, Claire Diana, said they had an amazing time in and out of the storm.

More from the photographer:
Lindsey & Tyler met in 2010 while attending Auburn University. They quickly discovered that they had attended the same high school — Grayson High School — but had somehow never met. Ironically, I also went to Grayson High School and knew both Lindsey & Tyler separately. 🙂 After exchanging numbers, Tyler asked Lindsey on their first date to see Secretariat, unaware at the time of Lindsey’s love of Disney movies. They ended up talking for almost 3 hours after the movie before Tyler walked Lindsey to her door, and they have been seemingly inseparable since. They had been dating for 4 years (including some time long-distance after Lindsey transferred to UGA) when Tyler proposed to Lindsey in the city where it all started: Auburn. This was my second family wedding (after photographing Tyler’s brother’s wedding), and it was a BLAST. This family knows how to party. I was so thrilled that Lindsey & Tyler didn’t let the rain deter them from taking photos outside. I always tell my couples that the best thing you can do if it rains is keep a positive attitude, and they sure did! I LOVE the photos we took of the entire bridal party having fun outside in the rain with their umbrellas.
