Fall is a beautiful time for weddings, and chances are if you just got engaged or your wedding is in the next couple months, you’re already on the hunt for fun and seasonal wedding centerpiece ideas. While a wide range of wedding flowers are in season during the fall (including Asiatic Lily, Asters, Calla Lilies, Chrysanthemums, Dahlias, Gerbera daisies, Gladioli, Marigolds, Roses, Sunflowers, and Zinnias), you can experiment a bit more with non-floral arrangements/wedding centerpieces than in other seasons.
There are so many crafty centerpiece ideas that would be perfect for a fall wedding, including the DIY herb and olive leaf garland from Country Living (pictured above). And while I love their version, if you’re not crafty (like me) there are also several online stores where you can buy them, such as Pottery Barn (pictured below).

If you’re looking for something to decorate your fall wedding tables aside from flowers, feathers make a great centerpiece alternative. They also allow you to use those fun vases and pitchers you might have found. I’m not personally a fan of anything fluffy (like ostrich feathers), but something more structured like pheasant feathers can look great in a white vase or pitcher. You can find a wide range of feathers to buy online here.
And of course, nothing says fall more than pumpkins. While orange and yellow pumpkins and gourds are always great, I really love white pumpkins for an unexpected fall wedding centerpiece.
If color is more your thing, pomegranates are a great fall/winter centerpiece fruit. Pair them with pine cones in a big wood bowl or with pears or artichokes for a bit of green.
