We are suckers for a beautiful backyard wedding, and Stephanie and Frederick’s big day is an example of how sometimes the best wedding venue is the one closest to home. 🙂
Held in Frederick’s parents’ backyard in gorgeous Merritt Island, we love the love that Lotus Eyes Photography captured despite a little unexpected rain. More from the photographer, below:
Back-yard weddings seem to be becoming more and more popular for 2016 and 2017 and it makes perfect sense to me: Working in a familiar environment allows you to easily plan the decor, know what your best weather related backup options are, and- you don’t have to rush a cleaning crew to make space for the next wedding. Can you tell it rained in these images? Well it did, but luckily Stephanie and Jeff had help from the talented ladies at Saving the Day Events who provided a clear tent and cozy lighting. We took some risks getting the dock side formal pictures as it was lightly sprinkling along with heavy overhead clouds, but we made it back just in time before it started pouring! What troopers!
Thanks so much to Stephanie and Frederick and Lotus Eyes for sharing these awesome photos, below.
