This Bride’s DIY Wedding Dress Has Something I’ve Never Seen Before

Talk about unique!

It’s not surprising at all when you see this wedding dress that the bride is an artist. Taylor Ann, of Taylor Ann Art, married her husband Christopher this summer in a Lake Arrowhead wedding that was as colorful as the dress itself (you can see all the gorgeous photos from James Tang Photography over at Wedding Colors). So just how did the bride do THAT to the dress? More from her, below, via Wedding Colors:

“I got my dress from a discount store; it was 5 sizes too big, strapless, and I had no clue how I would make it mine. I got it altered as soon as I could, took it to Sun Rose Alterations in Huntington Beach, they did a great job. I even bought the tallest (and incredibly cute) shoes I could find so we didn’t have to change the hem. After fiddling around for a while with coloring lace, and dyes, and glues, I just grabbed my airbrush gun I had been using for coloring the flowers and sprayed the dress.”

This reminds us of a way more colorful version of Gwen Stefani’s wedding dress, right? We love any wedding dress that makes a statement, especially one as fun as this. Congrats the happy (and bright!) couple!
