How Will Grandma Get There? Belmont is located near a number of medium-sized airports, and roughly a two-hour drive from Detroit Metro Airport and MBS International Airport. The closest hotel is the Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North (2-stars), though most out-of-town guests might prefer to stay in Grand Rapids (a 16-minute drive from the venue) for access to more hotel 3-star+ hotel options.

Blythefield Country Club, a private club located just north of Grand Rapids, MI, dates back to the 1920s. Nestled away at the top of a hill surrounded by an award-winning golf course, the property is often used to host events and weddings.
Woman Getting Married Says
The grounds of the Blythefield Country Club are sprawling and gorgeous in the spring/summer. While the outdoor option would be my personal fave, I like the vintage touches in the ballroom for colder months or in case of rain, including the wood beams and chandeliers. While the price per bottle setup is unique (I actually haven’t seen this option at a venue before!) it could end up costing you less per person than a regular open bar setup, especially if you don’t have a crowd of big drinkers. Otherwise, for middle-to-top shelf bottles you could be looking at around $40+/pp for alcohol. However, their lower per person food cost will definitely help even that out and you could end up with a great price per person overall.
