How Will Grandma Get There? Grandma can stay in one of the 33 bedrooms on the grounds or in the nearby Talbot Inn which is included in the cost. The bride/groom will most likely want to stay in the largest suite, The Playroom, which has a freestanding bath and fully-stocked (free) bar. Sweet.
Party On!: Babington House wedding rental time begins at 3 p.m. the day of your event, and can go until whatever time you want (the grounds are isolated so you don’t have to worry about waking up anybody except the sheep!)

Located among the hills of Somerset, Babington House is a Georgian estate that sits on over 18 acres. Babington House is owned by the same group that owns the Soho House properties in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Miami. The property, which is a 2 hours and 20 minute drive from London, is entirely yours for the duration of your Babington House wedding (24 hours). The 18 acres contain a walled Victorian garden (which the house uses ingredients from to make their cocktails), tennis courts, a cricket pitch, lake, pools, and their “Cowshed Relax” spa.

What’s not to love about this English countryside property? It’s spacious, breathtaking, offers an expensive but not insane package price considering it’s being converted from pounds, and has the same owners as one of the best private clubs (Soho House) in the world. I’m ready to go there on vacation ASAP (or have an awesome birthday party)! I love the fact that your guests get to stay on property for the night (or two or three), and if guests pay for their own rooms the price quoted above will come down by about half. If you’re looking to have a destination wedding in the English countryside that’s beyond idyllic, I highly recommend checking our the Babington House.
