More Stats:
Space Type: Inside/Outside
Size: Up 80-85 guests comfortably. A maximum of 50 guests can be seated in the covered garden; there is also an open-air garden that is weather-dependent and can seat another 30 guests (so 80 guests max outside if the weather is nice). The main dining room can seat a maximum of 50 guests but it is very tight and overall I recommend having 80-85 guests max.
Bridal Suite: No
Parking: While on-street parking is available, space is often limited
How Will Grandma Get There? Aurora is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, a short walk from the L train, which will easily take guests to and from the city. It’s also a fairly short Taxi/Uber ride. Guests can stay in Manhattan or nearby at the Wythe Hotel or McCarren Hotel & Pool (both really great options).
Party On! The hours for Fri/Sat events are from 6 p.m.-12 a.m., with one additional hour for set up and one extra hour for your team to wrap-up. However, I think you can negotiate a 1 a.m. end-time given the location.
The Report:
This Williamsburg restaurant was inspired by owner and Rome native Gaspare Villa’s favorite place in Tuscany.
Woman Getting Married Says:
I recently had lunch at this restaurant (though I remember it from a few years ago, too) and was completely charmed. The food is amazing (I had this whole fish lunch special that was really great and well priced) and the atmosphere is unique and unexpected, with a great mix between rustic and industrial…yet still completely romantic. The fact that they have a gorgeous and quaint outside garden totally seals the deal.I also like that they’ll design the menu and bar around your budget. Bonus? You’re super close to fun bars to continue the dance party!
