A Vintage + Green Wedding at the Presqu’ile Winery

We don’t personally know Danyele and Ethan, but we REALLY wish we did. We haven’t had a real wedding make us smile THIS much since we don’t know when. Held at the Presqu’ile Winery in Santa Maria, California, and captured perfectly by Looking Glass Photography, we can’t help but love every minute of Danyele and Ethan’s non-traditional wedding. From the TWO vintage-inspired dresses Danyele chose to the Disney embellishment on her bouquet and even their Star Wars wedding cake, this real wedding had us as soon as we saw it in our inbox. More from their photographer, below:

“When I met Danyele and Ethan I was so excited to hear about their non-traditional wedding plans. They are two of the coolest and cutest and NICEST people you will ever meet. They wanted their Presqu’ile Winery Wedding to show their personalities, interests, and represent them- and it sure did! Most of all they wanted to create a super fun day for their friends and family. Danyele is not your everyday bride: She’s bold and beautiful and swings to her own beat. She is incredible inside and out and it’s so easy to understand why Ethan loves her so much. He knows there isn’t another girl like Danyele in the whole world and how special she is- and as their wedding photographer I could see that, too. Danyele wore a vintage-inspired green wedding dress with silver sparkling pumps and a tulle underskirt that looked adorable when she twirled!

The day started out with hot and humid weather, with the chance of rain. It was dry until the ceremony when all of a sudden…downpour!!! Danyele walked out to the sound of thunder, grinning from ear to ear. Everyone ended up running inside laughing and we had the ceremony in the reception area, a little drenched but laughing and loving it! Come to find out, Ethan and Danyele share a love for rain and they were thrilled it rained on the wedding day, calling it serendipity! It rained on their first date, it rained on the day Ethan proposed, and it seemed to fit that it rained on their wedding day. too. I’ve never seen a happier (and more soaked) couple laughing and running around in puddles.”
