Honeymoon Destination: Tulum, Mexico
When to Go: The best time to visit Tulum is between October and December, when hurricane season has pretty much ended and the hotel prices are slightly more reasonable. However, the weather stays warm year-round, and January through March is actually the most popular time for tourists.
Where to Stay: Maya Tulum, Zamas, Mi Amor Colibri Boutique Hotel
What to Do: Yoga at Maya Tulum; Wildlife Preserve Tour at Aktun Chen; Turtle watching at Akumal Dive Center
Where to Eat/Drink: Hartwood Tulum, Chamicos, Restaurare
Why We Like It: Despite it’s increasing popularity in the past decade, Tulum has managed to maintain a hip yet still authentic status. You can disconnect and get away from it all while still being able to venture into town for craft cocktails and some of the best (and healthiest) Mexican food you’ll find.
