Average base cost for a Sogno del Fiore wedding is calculated by figuring a 125-person guest list on a Saturday night and an average catering cost of $150/pp for food and beverage, $300 for 2 security guards, $1,500 for an upgraded restroom trailer, and $1,000 for a shuttle (costs are estimates). Transportation to venue, entertainment, additional decorations, some catering supplies, DJ, and photography are not included. Average price includes gratuity and state sales tax. Price is rounded up to the nearest thousand.

What’s Included: The property rental is for 8 hours. You will also get market lights, all outdoor furniture and (2) bungalows for two nights of overnight accommodations (each bungalow sleeps 2).

How Will Grandma Get There? Guests would most likely want to stay at a hotel in the Santa Ynez area, such as the Santa Ynez Inn which is 3 miles from the property.
Party On! The last guest needs to leave by 10:30pm (with amplified music off by 10:00 p.m.), and all vendors need to be off property by 11:30pm.
Sogno del Fiore is a wine club and estate resort located in the hills of the Santa Ynez valley. The property features 3 acres of vines, a swimming pool, olive grove, garden, a fully lit bocce court, (2) fire pits, horseshoes, and mountain views. They prefer to only host 5 weddings a year.

There’s a lot to like about this property, and one of them is location. Aside from the pretty vineyard setting, gardens, and pool, it’s situated only a few miles from quaint hotels in the Santa Ynez area, which is a bonus if you have guests coming in from out of town who want decent hotel options. While it wouldn’t be too far for you Santa Barbara brides, it’s almost three hours from Santa Monica, so if you’re an LA bride looking for a vineyard setting this would definitely be considered a destination wedding. Looking at the space as a whole there are a couples pros and cons. The pros are that you get that vineyard setting (which is perfect for a rustic, Italian-themed wedding) without being situated in the middle of nowhere, as mentioned above. I also like that you can stay on the property. The cons would be having to bring in things like the bathrooms if you have a guest count over 50 and having no inside option, which is always a downer at any venue. At any outdoor-only venue you have to be aware of little things, like how comfortable guests are going to be on grass all night (hello, high heels!) and not having an inside area for guests to warm up if it gets chilly or just relax. Those are just a couple things to keep in mind, not just at this venue but in your overall venue search.
Regarding food and beverage I love that you can bring in your own caterer. I would consider the catering package listed above since it includes tables and chairs (and the food sounds yummy), however I would see how flexible they are on the beverage service quote of $18/pp. There are beverage service providers that can serve top-shelf alcohol for around $25/pp for a 6-hour event (in the LA area Scarlette’s and Sunseri’s offer competitive packages), so I’d want to see a price for just setups/staff and no alcohol closer to $10 or $11/pp.
