A Beautiful and Rustic Wedding on San Juan Island

This has to be one of the PRETTIEST nautical real weddings we’ve seen. From the stunning views and fun decor to the fresh seafood and laid-back yet totally elegant rustic vibe, Jenae and Josh’s wedding on the San Juan Islands is a sight to be seen. More from the Heather Mayer Photography, who captured this adorable couple’s big day, below:

“Waldron Island is a 4.6 mile island over in the San Juan Islands and is not accessible by ferry. We took their family boats over to the island in the early morning on August 27th. Let me just start by saying that this island is absolutely breathtaking. We were so excited to see all of the gorgeous fun details for Josh and Jenae’s Island wedding. The beautiful arbor was made from drift wood found on the beach, Mon -fleur added her stunning floral arrangements to it, and the seafood bar was to die for. The little details such as the cup holders and bibs were also so cute! So much thought and preparation went into the decor of this wedding–the vintage bikes, the old boat filled with beverages, the oars, the crab pots turned into chandeliers and the fish netting–was absolutely perfect. All of the items were found on the shore and or brought over on their personal boats, so you can imagine how much time it took to put this together. So much love and care went into this intimate beach style wedding!”
