I love everything about this wedding day. From the couple’s relaxed and fun demeanor to the easy-going vibe the entire wedding seemed to embody. I think this wedding is a perfect example of how you don’t have to plan the world’s biggest event to have an amazing day filled with love, romance, and lots of laughs (and cricket!).
More from the amazing photographer who captured Laura and Fraser’s real wedding, Juniper Spring Photography:
Laura and Fraser live in Canada. They met in school and have known each other since they were kids, but it was only later on that they reconnected and fell in love. Laura’s uncle lives in Tiburon, CA, and that is where they decided to have their laid-back destination wedding. The ceremony was held at an adorable little white chapel on a hill, overlooking the beautiful San Francisco Bay. After the ceremony, instead of taking hours to have posed photos, Laura and Fraser decided to just hang out and have an awesome time with their friends. They planned a cricket game for the guys and an afternoon tea for the girls, all with a loose 20’s/flapper theme. The beauty of the natural surroundings plus the laid-back atmosphere, thoughtful details and most importantly–fun with loved ones–created a perfect atmosphere for unique documentary photos. The cricket game was followed by an easy-going reception at Laura’s uncle’s house overlooking the Bay. This included tasteful passed hors d’oeuvres and a fun game for the guests to play. All in all it was a beautiful, stress-free day oriented around celebrating with family and friends.
And how perfect is Old St. Hilary’s Chapel for this picturesque day?! Check out the beautiful photos from Laura and Fraser’s real wedding, below.
