Rise & Cook, Cooking Academy and Market Tour

Start your day with the fragrance of fresh Thai lemon basil and tamarind by signing up for the Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy with Balinese native, Chef Kris, who has been with the Four Seasons for over 20 years. The morning starts with a tour of the Jimbaran Fish Market, a true cultural pleasure where guests can experience the heritage of the seaside village, watch jukung boats arrive at the market and see the women who balance baskets of the morning’s catch on their heads from the beach to the market. After selecting fresh seafood and produce, you’ll arrive back at the resort to choose fresh herbs and spices from the academy’s own garden. Next up? A five-course lunch served at the communal table or in the shaded courtyard.

Couples Treatment at the Spa, Wave of Desire

Refreshed from yoga, now is the perfect time to experience the Wave of Desire treatment at the Healing Village Spa at Jimbaran Bay. This 120-minute couple’s treatment focuses on the sacral chakra – which, when balanced, helps let go of limitations for a healthy life balance. The treatment includes a deep lymphatic scrub, private steam and a fragrant massage, all of which will leave you reinvigorated and your senses renewed.

6:00 p.m.

Dinner at Menega Seafood Café

We know an early dinner sounds like the antithesis of vacation, but trust us when we say the views are worth it. Menega Seafood Café boats one of the best sunset views in Jimbaran Bay. And the crowds get crazy, so it’s best to go early if you want a great seat (or one at all). And the fresh seafood? Amazing.

Day 4:

8:00 a.m.

Breakfast at Taman Wantilan

If you were eyeing the French toast rolls yesterday but opted for something lighter, today’s the day to make your dreams happen. After breakfast you’ll be checking out, so now is the time to savor Taman Wantilan’s yummy creations.

12:00 p.m.

Check out from Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay and transfer to Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan

The hotel will arrange the transfer for you. All you’ve got to do is pack your bags!

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan

Balinese Dance Performance at Jati Bar

After settling in to your new abode at Sayan, you’ll immediately get to experience Ubud’s artistic capital in the island’s central highlands along the Ayung River. Settle into the teakwood Jati Bar lounge with views of the Ayung River Valley, and order a refreshing cocktail while you enjoy the brilliance of a Balinese dance performance.

8:00 p.m.

Dinner at Ayung Terrace

Dinner at the Ayung Terrace provides views of the river that are second to none. You’ll dine on Indonesian and Asian specialties, each dish with a resounding abundance of flavor. For the best seats in the house, you’ll want the outdoor table that sits on the edge of the restaurant overlooking the landscape.

Day 5:

8:00 a.m.

Breakfast at Ayung Terrace

Wake up and start your day at the Ayung Terrace for a bountiful a la carte menu which offers everything from tropical fruits, Sayan specialties, or sweet treats from the griddle like blueberry pancakes. You’ll want to eat well before you hit the road for the adventure portion of your day.

10:00 a.m.

Four Seasons Private Rafting or Biking Adventure

Rafting: Experience Bali from a different angle through a guided rafting tour of the Ayung River. You’ll wind through the rapids and experience the jungle, rice terraces and the magical landscape. Hop out of the raft for a few minutes of tranquil floating down the calm stretch of the river, and enjoy a natural holy spring for performing simple water purification along the way as well.

Biking: If you prefer land over sea, set out for a one-hour guided biking trip with the fitness center staff, who will take you through the village of Sayan to experience Balinese life. If you prefer a longer journey, you can opt for the 3-hour tour through Bongkasa Village where you’ll enjoy a scenic view of rice fields or a 4-hour tour of Kintamani with views of Mount Batur volcano and Balinese temples, each of which start at 8:00 a.m.

3:00 p.m.

Couple’s Treatment: Anahata

After your rafting or biking adventure, the Sacred River Spa is next on your list. 7:00 p.m.

Private Romantic Dinner at the Lotus Pond

What better way to celebrate being in Bali than to enjoy a private dinner at the most romantic location at the resort – the lotus pond. The ethereal infinity pond is situated at the end of a 98-foot teak wood bridge, and offers views of towering treetops and breathtaking reflections of the surrounding forest high above the Ayung River. Your table will be at the edge of the pond, and you’ll enjoy a five-course menu with both Western and Indonesian menu items. Take advantage of the telescope they give you as well, which is perfect for stargazing on the most beautiful of evenings.

Day 6:

Woman Getting Married Says:

We adore the Four Seasons Bali because it combines two exceptional properties for one amazing honeymoon without having to island-jump. For honeymooners, this is a wonderful trip that marries (pun intended), both rest and relaxation with adventure and cultural experiences. It’s a two-in-one vacation that provides the best of both worlds, on one very incredible island.
