16 Ways to Rock Tattoos at Your Wedding

If you’re a tattooed bride (or couple), you most likely fall into one of two camps: The “I need to cover these up so my Grandma doesn’t see them,” or the “I’m flaunting my ink for the world to see!” I suggest you go with the latter, like these brides and grooms (and sometimes bridesmaids) did!

There’s something so beautiful about the juxtaposition of tattoos against flowers and lace. And while you might feel the need (or want) to hide your tattoos with makeup or long sleeves because of where you’re getting married or who you’re saying ‘I Do’ in front of, if you love your tattoos (as most tattooed people do), there’s no more perfect day to show them off then on your wedding day.

I have one rather large tattoo on my ankle and foot that I got WAY back in the day when I was 18, and despite the years that have gone by, I still love it. Though my dress covered it up naturally just due to the length, if it was in any other location I would have chosen to show it off just the same.

Tattoos made a big appearance at these weddings, below, and they’re all beautiful. Check out a few of our favorites, below.

If you have a tattoo, are you going to hide it or flaunt it on your wedding day? Tell us in the comments section!
