Our average base cost for an Villa Bellezza wedding is calculated by figuring a 125-person guest list for a Saturday evening ceremony and reception in May using a food/beverage estimate of $50/pp. Entertainment, flowers, additional decorations and rentals, chairs, tents, transportation, and photography are not included. The Vineyard Lawn and Gardens (for your Ceremony)
- $800 fee
- Includes ceremony chair rental and setup, and up to one hour extra event time. The event start time begins one half hour prior to the ceremony time to allow for guest arrival.
What’s Included: Pricing includes up to 7 hours of event time in the Great Hall and Reception Hall, Chiavari chairs, and dining, banquet, cake and gift tables.
Food/Beverage: You must choose from one of their six preferred caterers. Deco Catering is one of their vendors and offers food-only catering packages starting at $30/pp. You may bring in your own alcohol EXCEPT for wine, and use must you bottles of beer vs. tap/kegs. You must use the venue’s wine (with a 10% discount) and a 2 glass/ per person guarantee.
Extras: You may coordinate wedding glass favors with the venue as well as wedding party lunches and snacks for an additional fee.

Bridal Suite: There is a bridal “apartment” available starting at 9 a.m. the morning of your wedding that includes a 3/4 bath, overlooking the vines. It costs $300.

How Will Grandma Get There? Out of town guests would most likely fly into the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International airport, which is about 72 miles away from the venue (1 hour 22 minutes). There are various Inns, Hotels, Motels, and B&B’s located anywhere from 2 miles to 41 miles away from the venue, such as the Alma Hotel and Country Inn and Suites. The venue will be able to provide you with a complete list as well as room count and other information.
Party On!: The last dance is at 11:45 pm. All decor must be removed by 1:00 am.

Villa Bellezza is the vision of husband and wife team Derrick and Julianne Dahlen, whose friendship and connection with two Italian families led them to open Villa Bellezzza as a place for families, friends, and the community to come together and celebrate. Derrick, CEO for Avant Energy, and Julianne, a marketing professional, now use traditional and modern techniques to create their Bellezza wines. The winery hosts tours and tastings as well as special events, and includes a full catering kitchen as well as a 10% discount on their wine cases for use at your wedding.

I love a winery wedding no matter what city you’re in, and having one in Wisconsin is a pretty unique idea. The venue is a convenient option for brides in Minneapolis looking for a close wedding they can have a “destination” wedding at, and the fact that you can BYOB (minus the wine) is always a cost-saver. Obviously the warmer months are going to be key in terms of taking advantage of the property’s vineyards, so be sure to visit in the spring, summer, or early fall if you can to get a feel of what it will look like if you do decide to get married May-October.
