What’s your all-time favorite wedding flower?
I think a “White O’hara” garden rose is the perfect wedding flower…classic yet soft and natural and the color can complement almost any palette. But, my favorite flowers are tulips, so I love using them in Spring weddings!
Name a wedding venue you love and share with us what’s so special about it:
New Orleans has so many historic and interesting places so there are any number of venues to fit your style. Personally, I am not a super formal person and I tend to like clean and natural, so I am a huge fan of Popp Fountain and the Arbor Room at City Park. The fountain is perfect for a classic outdoor ceremony and perfectly transitions to the Arbor Room which is a modern take on a garden setting.
If you could give one piece of advice to brides, what would it be?
Be honest! If you really don’t care too much about what your flowers are or what particular liquor is served…just tell your vendors!! We’d much rather give you what we know will work and is easy for us to do well and within budget – and you’re happy you didn’t spend unnecessary funds on something to make someone else happy!
What dance song do you think should be played at every wedding reception?
“How Sweet it is to be Loved by You”
